Vltava

1938
The construction was ordered at the shipyard of Ustí nad Labem, just before the german occupation of the borderlands of ČSR (Československé republik). PPS then cancelled the order which was transfered to the Prague Shipyard.
1940
Octber, 16th. After completing its testing sails, the ship received the name of "Vltava", wich it bears to this days. The boat is 54 m long and has a hull wide of 5,1 m. The propulsion is given by a steam engine from the ČKD (Česko moravska Kolben Daněk), with an output of 112,5 kW (150 hp). The steam boiler is also a ČKD product.
1960
It went under modernisation at the ČSPLO (Československa plavba labsko oderska) shipyard at Boletice during which the upperdeck was enlarged.
1991
It went under reconstruction to become a restaurant-boat, and this opportunity was used to change its original steam boiler into one from the Thyssen-Henschel company..
